NuShield
iWave is an air purifying device that installs in any duct air conditioning system. When air passes over the iWave, ions produced by the device reduce pathogens, allergens, particles, smoke and odors in the air, creating a healthy environment without producing any harmful byproducts.
iWave uses patented technology, called needle-point bi-polar ionization, to create equal amounts of positive and negative ions. When these ions are injected into the air stream, they break down passing pollutants and gases into harmless compounds like oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water vapor (see illustration below).

iWave-M’s revolutionary circuit bar with special integrated ion-generating needles fits any HVAC cooling coil up to 36" wide. The circuit bar is chemical resistant and highly durable for long service life. Plus, it can be folded to length in the field to any size and uses hook/loop fasteners for the flexible bar and power pack for easy installation. It is perfect for ductless HVAC systems – specifically mini-splits, commercial VRF coils, PTAC systems – plus some residential and commercial duct systems, packaged systems, transport cooling coils or even in ice machines. The iWave-M is the most versatile and novel product on the market to address air quality for any HVAC system, in particular, to solve mold issues common in hard-to-clean ductless systems.

NuShield-R
With technology installed in hundreds of thousands of applications, NuShield-R is a self-cleaning, no-maintenance needlepoint bipolar ionization generator designed for treating air in any ducted HVAC system up to 6 tons. As air flows past the NuShield-R, positive and negative ions actively treat the supply air, reducing certain bacteria and viruses* in the coil and living space. The ionization process also reduces smoke, odors (cooking, pet, VOCs), and other particles (no more sunbeams) in the air. NuShield-R meets UL 2998 zero ozone emission certification.
